We are
Taletha and Letha; the “Letha”
is squared, creating TL2. However, we are far from square!
TL2
is
a
general
partnership
dedicated
to
providing
more
World
dance
and
music
to
the
Louisville
and
Southern
Indiana
communities.
~Letha
is a former dancer with the
Crescent Moon Dance Company and a musician with professional experience in music marketing and events planning. She continues to work with the Crescent Moon Dance Company today as promotional support.
~Taletha is a Colorado native who found herself in Kentucky in 1999 where she became one of Louisville's most active professional belly dancers. She is also a member of the
Crescent Moon Dance Company and a classically trained musician.
Taletha
currently
works
full
time
teaching
and
performing
the
art
of
belly
dance
in
the
Louisville
area.
Who would ever imagine two people
with such similar and unusual names would ever meet? Through all the
decisions we made along the way after birth (where we live, what we do)
we ended up in the River City dancing together and having a ball.
Now
we
are
hoping
to
share
our
love
of
dance
with
the
entire
community
by
helping
dancers
of
all
styles
improve
and
share
their
art.
Currently
our
focus
is
on
belly
dance
and
world
dance
events
such
as:
belly
dance
shows,
belly
dance
workshops,
and
fund
raisers
involving
the
Louisville
and
Southern
Indiana
belly
dance
communities.
Our
mission
is
to
provide
more
dance
opportunities
for
not
only
professional
belly
dancers,
but
also
for
students.
